Muscat: Today, at the Supreme Judicial Council, fifteen second-class public prosecutors from the "Development Batch" were sworn in by Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judiciary Council.
The event was graced by the presence of Attorney General Nasr bin Khamis Al Sawa’ee.
This oath-taking ceremony is in accordance with Article (11) of the Public Prosecution Law, established under Royal Decree No. (99/92), which authorizes the commencement of judicial duties and the integration into the Public Prosecution Corps.
As stipulated in Article (10) of the Public Prosecution Law, candidates must complete a two-year program at the Higher Judicial Institute to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Judicial Sciences.
