Muscat: The first-term examinations for the 2024-2025 Academic Year, specifically for students pursuing the General Education Diploma (GED) and equivalent qualifications, are scheduled to commence on Thursday, January 23, and will continue until February 6, 2025.
A total of 61,257 students, both male and female, are expected to participate in these exams across various educational institutions, including government schools, private schools, special education schools, and ongoing education programs.
The relevant departments have established 366 fully equipped examination centers throughout the governorates of Oman, strategically allocated based on student population density. Following the completion of the exams, approximately 6,200 teachers will be responsible for grading the students' answer sheets.
