Muscat: The Entrepreneurship Seminar commenced on Thursday in Muscat, focusing on strategies to strengthen collaborations between the public and private sectors to foster entrepreneurship.
The event was held under the auspices of Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
Its objective was to facilitate the sharing of experiences among private higher education institutions regarding entrepreneurship.
The seminar aimed to motivate private higher education institutions to establish agreements and form cooperative partnerships with other entities in the entrepreneurship sector.
Throughout the event, several working papers were presented addressing entrepreneurship in the Sultanate of Oman, including strategies to navigate the challenges posed by the labor market and Omani geography in alignment with Oman Vision 2040, insights from the Algerian experience in entrepreneurship, and the role of transformational training in enhancing entrepreneurial activities.
