Muscat: The Embassy of Pakistan in Oman recently hosted an event dedicated to honoring the defenders and martyrs of Pakistan.

The assembly was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including officers from the Ministry of Defence of Oman, the Sultan Armed Forces of Oman, ambassadors from friendly nations, representatives from various ministries, military/defense attaches, notable locals from Oman, and members of the Pakistani community.

A tribute to the heroes and martyrs was paid through a journey through the historical narrative of Pakistan, from its inception in 1947.

The continuous endeavors of Pakistan in fostering global peace and cooperation with nations such as the Sultanate of Oman were also emphasized.

The defense and security relations between Pakistan and Oman's armed forces were thoroughly highlighted, with defense cooperation being identified as a crucial element in enhancing this relationship and promoting regional peace and stability.

Furthermore, the importance of maintaining and strengthening partnerships in economic and business connectivity was underscored.
