Muscat: Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, the Minister of Education, conveyed her heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for his unwavering support and dedication towards the education sector. She expressed her gratitude for the significant step taken by His Majesty in designating 24th February as an official holiday for all teachers, as well as those involved in teaching and holding administrative positions in both public and private schools. This gesture serves as a token of recognition and appreciation for their tireless efforts in fulfilling the entrusted responsibilities.
During her address for Omani Teacher’s Day, Dr. Madiha commended the hard work of teachers and their commitment to fulfilling their educational duties in shaping students effectively and equipping them to play a role in advancing the overall development of the nation.
Furthermore, she acknowledged the well-wishes from Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamad Al Busaidi, the Sultan of Oman's Spouse, to the teachers who are the foundation of this country on this joyous day. She also expressed gratitude for the dedication of administrative staff and all individuals working in the field of education.
