Muscat: Oman Customs has successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle 8.147 kilograms of hashish into the Sultanate of Oman.
In a statement, Oman Customs reported, "At the Sarfait border crossing, customs officials apprehended a citizen arriving from the Republic of Yemen who was attempting to smuggle 8.147 kilograms of hashish concealed within the spare tire located in the trunk of the vehicle."
