Muscat: In line with Oman Vision 2040 and its strategic emphasis on youth empowerment and support for SMEs, Shabiba, Muscat Media Group's leading Arabic daily, is hosting Sout Al Shabiba – Tamkeen wa Ta’theer (Forum on the Voice of the Youth – Empowerment and Impact).
The forum will take place on Monday, June 23, at the JW Marriott Hotel, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), Muscat. The event will take place under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sayyid Faris bin Fatik Al Said, whose participation as Chief Guest highlights the national importance of this project and reaffirms his commitment to fulfilling the ambitions of Omani youth.
This Arabic-language forum seeks to be a dynamic and thought-provoking platform for the voices of the next generation. It seeks to facilitate open, impactful discussions that address young Omanis' true concerns and ambitions while generating solutions that can lead to sustainable and inclusive development.
The event will feature inspiring young achievers, nextgen leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, academic specialists, and senior policymakers for a collaborative discussion on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and nationbuilding.
The forum's goal is to encourage meaningful discussions and generate actionable insights to help Omani youth and the country as a whole build a brighter, more sustainable future.

The major topics that will shape the day's talks include Omani Youth and Vision 2040, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, digital-era Omanisation and future skills, the role of SMEs in accelerating economic growth, In-Country Value (ICV) as a driver for local talent development, and green economy job creation.
Other focus areas include closing the skills gap between education and industry, financing youth-led initiatives, growing the startup ecosystem, strengthening mentorship and leadership development, improving public-private collaborations for employment and innovation, enabling youth-led social impact, and building a resilient workforce with soft skills to meet tomorrow's challenges.
