Muscat: In a joint effort, the Coast Guard Police, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), effectively prevented a group of 13 expatriates from unlawfully exiting the nation.
In a formal declaration, the Royal Oman Police disclosed that the Coast Guard Police, under the leadership of the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, successfully intercepted the group, all of whom were of Asian descent. The individuals were captured while attempting to depart Oman via unauthorized routes.
The authorities have commenced legal proceedings against the individuals who were detained.
