Citizens, Residents Urged To Vote For Oman Nation Brand Campaign

Muscat: In light of the enthusiastic participation in the Sultanate’s Oman Nation brand visual identity voting initiative, campaign organizers are urging all Omani citizens and residents who have not yet voted to do so on the final day of voting, scheduled for Sunday, December 29, 2024.

This Sunday presents the last chance for the people of Oman to select one of three proposed visual identities for the Oman Nation brand. The chosen design will serve as the official logo for the Sultanate’s long-term nation branding strategy, with the winning logo set to be unveiled to the public in early 2025.

So far, the voting campaign has garnered significant engagement and has seen participation from Omani citizens and residents across the country.

Reflecting on the campaign's success, Eng. Aisha Mohammed Al Saifi, Director of Oman’s Unified Promotional Nation Brand Project and Vice President for the National Programme for the Development of Private Sector and Foreign Trade (Nazdaher), remarked: “Today is the last opportunity to engage in this exciting Oman Nation brand voting campaign. For Omani citizens and residents in Oman, the voting process is straightforward. Simply visit the official voting website www.omanbrand.om to cast your vote for the logo that you believe best embodies our nation’s core values, aspirations, and narrative.”

A unique, genuine, and positive brand for Oman shapes our global image as an attractive destination for foreign investment, tourism, and trade. It positions Oman as an ideal place for both Omanis and expatriates to live and work, alongside various other factors that contribute to the growth and advancement of our economy and society. Today marks the final opportunity to cast your vote, and I urge everyone to participate—this is a remarkable chance to contribute to an exciting new chapter in Oman’s national narrative,” stated Eng. Al Saifi.

The visual identity voting initiative is part of the Sultanate’s long-term strategy for nation branding, aimed at enhancing Oman’s global perception and utilizing this image to benefit the nation’s economy and society.

Each visual identity for the Oman nation brand features a logo that harmoniously blends traditional and modern Omani design elements in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

These identities were crafted as part of Oman’s comprehensive nation branding strategy, which included an extensive and thorough 12-month research phase, overseen by a Creative Committee made up of Omani creative professionals.
