Muscat: Maj. Gen. Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, welcomed a delegation from the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College (RJCSC) today at his office in Bait Al Falaj Camp. The delegation was led by Brig. Tariq Khalaf Al Hajaya, Commander of the RJCSC, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
During their discussions, both parties addressed various topics of shared interest, with a particular focus on academic matters.
The meeting was attended by Air Commodore Abdullah Fayez Al Dhafri, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Commodore Khalid Amer Al Salti, Director General of Studies and Academic Affairs, along with senior officers from the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies and the Military Attaché from Jordan’s Embassy in Muscat.
Additionally, the Jordanian delegation visited the National Defence College (NDC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies. Upon their arrival, they were welcomed by Brigadier Mansoor Ali Al Amri, Acting Commandant of the NDC.
The delegation received an overview of the college’s facilities and its strategic curriculum, which is designed to prepare national competencies for making strategic decisions at various levels. They also toured the NDC’s departments and various halls.
Furthermore, the Jordanian delegation continued their visit to the Joint Command and Staff College (CSC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies. Upon their arrival, they were greeted by the Acting Commandant of the CSC and were given a tour of the college, along with a briefing on its general curriculum and facilities.
