Muscat – The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Ballet from Vladivostok presented an extraordinary rendition of 1001 Nights at the Royal Opera House Muscat, enchanting the audience with a remarkable blend of dance, music, and narrative. The performance garnered enthusiastic applause, as spectators were captivated by the intricate choreography and the vibrant portrayal of classic stories.

February continued at the opera house with the Emerging Talents initiative, featuring renowned baritone Thomas Hampson, who conducted masterclasses for young musicians in Muscat, performed a lunchtime concert at the Opera Galleria, and concluded with a formal evening concert on Sunday, February 9th, alongside the Muscat Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Opera Choir Group.
Two additional concerts are scheduled to take place in this vibrant month. On Thursday, February 13th, the annual Pipe Organ Concert will draw a full house once more. Featuring acclaimed organist Claudio Astronio, the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra, conductor Gianluca Marciano, the children’s choir Piccolo Cantori di Torino, and choirs from Cheltenham Muscat and Downe House Muscat Schools, this concert promises to be a rich and captivating experience.
