Muscat: Anti-Narcotics Authorities of the Royal Oman. Police arrested two people in Oman for drug offenses.
According to ROP, "In a coordinated effort to fight narcotics smuggling, the AntiNarcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, supervised by the South Al Batinah Police Command, has successfully apprehended a Pakistani national in the Wilayat of Barka. "
"The suspect was caught after a thorough tracking operation and was discovered in possession of a quantity of marijuana destined for sale and personal use," according to the ROP.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances division of the Dhofar Police Command detained an Omani national for narcotics possession. Authorities are continuing legal action in response to the incident.
