Transport Ministry Launches 'Governorates Ambassadors Digital Transition Initiative”

Muscat: On Sunday, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology inaugurated the "Governorates Ambassadors Digital Transition Initiative." The Ministry's representation in this project was provided by the National Digital Transition Programme (Tahawul).

This initiative is designed to leverage the expertise of the nation's elite, including national cadres, technicians, and professionals, who possess the requisite passion and skills across all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance public awareness regarding the utilization of smart and advanced digital services and solutions. It represents a significant step towards embracing digital lifestyles, adopting the most effective methods for accessing government services, and elevating citizen satisfaction.

Furthermore, the initiative seeks to spotlight the most recent technologies employed in this domain, with the goal of empowering community members to acquire proficiency in modern digital practices such as authentication, electronic signature, electronic payment, and the utilization of smart applications and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, among other digital tools.
