This annual event showcases a remarkable dedication to fostering international connections through the power of music. The Royal Opera House Muscat is excited to announce that the esteemed "Military Music: Oman and the World" festival will feature performances by groups from two countries known for their rich musical heritage: Jordan and Austria. These groups will collaborate with Omani military ensembles and Royal Oman Police Bands for an enchanting three-night spectacle of marching, dancing, and music.
As has been the tradition, the festival will be held outdoors, on the magnificent Maidan of the Royal Opera House Muscat. This event is renowned for attracting audiences from around the globe and spanning various age groups. The community of Muscat, which includes both locals and visitors, gathers to witness the grandeur of pageantry and pomp, while also reveling in the captivating rhythm and sound of marching music. The performances will take place within the Opera Galleria and the entrance of the Royal Opera House, where the Maidan will be converted into a state-of-the-art amphitheatre for three exhilarating evenings.
