Muscat: According to the Ministry of Labor (MoL), a total of 12,936 employment and replacement positions were guaranteed for Omanis in the first half of this year. This figure, which includes both the public and private sectors, indicates a completion rate of 38% of the ministry's yearly objective.
According to the Ministry's figures, the division of these occupations is as follows:
Public Sector: 2,316 jobs.
Private Sector: 10,620 jobs
The study also highlighted the total number of training opportunities, which were 4,292, with a completion rate of 39%. These possibilities were divided as follows: 473 in the public sector and 3,819 in the commercial sector.
The Ministry reported that a total of 17,228 possibilities were developed by combining both employment and training, resulting in an overall accomplishment rate of 38.28%.
According to the Ministry's data, the total number of employment prospects, including opportunities for persons who were previously employed, was 35,807. This total contains 17,228 first-time job possibilities and 18,579 positions for people who have already worked.
