Muscat, 16 Dec (ONA) — Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, spouse of the Sultan of Oman, presided over the graduation ceremony for a new cohort of the Tasmu Initiative today, which focuses on enhancing the leadership skills of Omani women. The event was held at the Royal Academy of Management (RAM).
Upon her arrival at the Academy, the Honourable Lady was welcomed by Dr. Ali Qassim Al Lawati, President of the Royal Academy of Management, along with other officials from the institution.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, this new cohort included 50 women from various sectors, including public, private, and civil society organizations.
The Tasmu Initiative is the first national program specifically aimed at empowering female leaders and is designed to support the comprehensive development of the Sultanate of Oman. It encompasses advanced training, networking opportunities, and field visits.
During the ceremony, the Honourable Lady toured the Academy's facilities and received an overview of the institution's objectives and specialized programs aimed at enhancing performance and formulating future strategic plans. She also observed the Digital Academy and the display panel for international indices.
At the conclusion of the event, the Honourable Lady signed the Visitors Book. The Royal Academy of Management presented her with a commemorative gift, to which she expressed her gratitude to the organizers of the Tasmu Initiative.
The Honourable Lady acknowledged the dedicated efforts to empower Omani women across various sectors and wished for continued success in achieving further milestones.
