Ten Omani Projects Qualify For London Science Forum

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Muscat revealed the list of participants who successfully qualified for the 65th edition of the London International Youth Science Forum in 2024.

A total of 182 research projects were submitted for consideration, with 25 projects meeting the criteria in the fields of science, technology, mathematics, and engineering.

Out of these, the top ten projects were chosen to represent the Sultanate of Oman at the forum, which is scheduled to take place from 24th July to 7th August 2024.

The selection process involved the evaluation of advanced research projects by a panel of experts from the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Sultan Qaboos University, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, and entrepreneurs.

The London International Youth Science Forum is an annual event held at Imperial College in London, attracting a diverse group of students specializing in scientific disciplines from around the globe.
