Suhar: The Artificial Intelligence (AI) lab at Sohar University of Technology and Applied Sciences has been unveiled, thanks to the support and funding from SOHAR Port and Freezone. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest technology, with the aim of enhancing national capabilities in the field of AI and technology. This will benefit students, faculty, technicians, and researchers, providing them with the opportunity to gain experience in emerging technologies and their application in port operations.

In addition to this, an agreement has been signed with Sohar University of Technology and Applied Sciences to launch a program that includes student exchange and practical training. This collaboration represents a new step in the partnership between SOHAR and the University, aiming to develop local talent and foster innovation among the youth in the governorate. It also offers a unique opportunity for these young minds to analyze and devise solutions for real-world scenarios, thereby enhancing their skills and understanding of industry dynamics.
