Muscat: The Shura Council participated in the meeting on Thursday through video conferencing, engaging in sessions of the 18th meeting of the GCC Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee.
The agenda of the meeting focused on strategies to enhance cooperation with the parliaments of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as to strengthen the relations between GCC parliamentary bodies and the European Parliament.
Furthermore, the meeting aimed to deliberate on shared GCC priorities and aspirations from legislative, political, and economic viewpoints. It was intended to discuss methods for aligning GCC positions and visions, which are articulated during international parliamentary conferences and forums.
The meeting offered a platform to showcase the parliamentary efforts undertaken by GCC legislative councils at both regional and international levels.
