Seventh Edition Of Oman International Food Safety Conference To Begin On 21 April

Muscat: The 7th Oman International Food Safety and Quality Conference is set to commence on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).

Under the theme "Towards Resilient and Adaptive Food Systems," this three-day event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and will take place alongside Food Safety Week.

The conference will gather experts and specialists from Oman and 32 other countries, focusing on the application of modern technology to develop innovative solutions for improving food safety and quality, identifying food processing fraud, and verifying food authenticity.

Implementing such standards is essential for safeguarding consumer health, boosting confidence in market products, and reducing food waste. Additionally, these measures have a positive impact on the national economy.
