Muscat: Following the directive of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, welcomed Dr. Abdullah Khaleel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, in his office today.
The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation between the two nations and exploring various avenues to advance mutual interests. Additionally, they addressed several issues of shared concern.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, and Sheikh Khalifa Hamad Al Badi, the Secretary General at the office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad. From the Maldives, Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Bilateral for Foreign Affairs, and Fathimath Naeema, Senior Under Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, were present.
