Muscat: General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, welcomed Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of Naval Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, along with his military delegation, in his office today.
The discussion focused on the longstanding relationship between Oman and Pakistan, with both parties considering ways to strengthen bilateral ties for mutual benefit.
The meeting also included the Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO).
NDC Commandant Hosts Pakistani Military Official
Rear Admiral Ali Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, hosted Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of Naval Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and his military delegation at the college’s headquarters in Bait Al Falaj Garrison today.
The agenda included discussions on various military issues of shared interest.
Additionally, the delegation received an overview of the NDC and its facilities, followed by a tour of its different departments.
Several senior officers from the NDC and the Military Attaché from the Pakistani Embassy in Muscat were present at the meeting.
