Muscat: On Monday, General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office, graciously hosted Dr. Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in his office.
Throughout the duration of their meeting, the delegations engaged in a comprehensive review of various cooperative endeavors aimed at advancing the mutual interests of their nations. Additionally, the discussion encompassed pressing regional and international issues. The ministers highlighted the critical need for diplomatic initiatives to mitigate tensions within the Middle East region.
They underscored the profound historical ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The assembly was also attended by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman.
