ROP Celebrates Passing Out Of New Batch Of Police Recruits

Nizwa: On Monday, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) celebrated the commencement of a new cohort of police recruits and female officers.

The event was held at the military parade ground of the Police Recruits Institute, situated within the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, located in the Wilayat of Nizwa. It was conducted under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, the Minister of Economy.

The graduating class saluted the chief guest, after which the commander of the column requested the chief guest to examine the front row of the parade. The graduating class then marched in front of the dignitaries present.

Subsequently, the chief guest presented awards to the most distinguished graduates.

The graduates performed the anthem of the Royal Oman Police and recited the phrase, “Long live His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.”

The ceremony was concluded with a military salute to the chief guest. Following this, the commander of the column sought permission to depart from the parade ground.

The event was graced by the presence of Lt. Gen. Hassan Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, the Inspector General of Police and Customs, senior officials of the ROP, military and security forces, directors from various government institutions and departments in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, and the parents of the graduates.
