Muscat: On Tuesday, Rear Admiral Saif Nassir Al Rahbi, the Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), hosted a meeting in his office at Al Murtafaa Garrison. The distinguished guests included Brigadier General Taekyu Park, the Commander of the 8th Combat Training Group, Republic of Korea, along with his delegation.
The purpose of the gathering was to discuss potential areas of naval cooperation between Oman and Korea.
The assembly was graced by the presence of several senior officers from the Royal Navy of Oman and the Military Attaché of the Korean Embassy in Muscat.
Concurrently, Brigadier General Taekyu Park and his delegation embarked on a visit to the Marine Security Centre (MSC). Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the acting head of the MSC.
During their visit, the delegation received an informative briefing on the tactical roles and responsibilities undertaken by the centre in ensuring maritime safety. They were also given a tour of the facility, during which they had the opportunity to observe the latest equipment and technologies employed by the centre in fulfilling its national duties.
