Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) celebrated the graduation of students from the Air Training Centre for Specialized Training at A'Seeb Air Base on Wednesday, under the supervision of Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, RAFO Commander.
The Assistant Director of the Center for Engineering Training gave a presentation emphasizing that the Center delivers skilled individuals to the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), and other military and security organizations in a variety of disciplines. Following this, a video presentation highlighted the Centre's many functions and training programmes.
One of the graduates also gave a speech, expressing his and his fellow graduates' satisfaction in finishing their training at this unique institution. He underlined the Centre's excellent standards in training specialty individuals in a variety of professions, which are supported by sophisticated theoretical and practical curriculum.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guest handed aviation wings to the graduates and awarded topperforming students from the professional programs. Administrative personnel and instructors at the Center were also acknowledged for their contributions.
Several senior officers and personnel from the Sultan's Armed Forces, as well as some RAFO people, attended the graduation ceremony.
