President Of Belarus Arrives In Oman

Muscat: President Aleksandr Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus has arrived in Muscat today for an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, which will span several days. During his stay, he is scheduled to meet with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The welcoming party for the Belarusian President and his delegation was led by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, who extended a warm welcome and expressed hopes for a fruitful visit.

Additionally, the President was greeted by Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority and Head of the Honorary Mission accompanying the guest, as well as Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih, the Ambassador of Oman to the Russian Federation and non-resident Ambassador to Belarus, Andrei Luchenok, the non-resident Belarusian Ambassador to Oman, along with other members of the Honorary Mission.

Accompanying the Belarusian President is an official delegation that includes Viktor Lukashenko, his son and President of the Olympic Committee, Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Efimov, Minister of Industry, Anatoly Linevich, Minister of Agriculture and Food, and Sergei Terentiev, the non-resident Ambassador of Belarus to Oman.

An official reception ceremony for the visiting President is scheduled to take place at Al Alam Palace tomorrow, Sunday. Furthermore, an official session of talks will be convened between Oman and Belarus, chaired by His Majesty the Sultan and the Belarusian President, to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
