On Tuesday, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute (Global CCS Institute) officially signed a collaborative initiative for carbon capture and storage. The signing ceremony occurred at the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion during the COP28 climate summit in Dubai.
This joint programme aims to offer technical assistance in the formulation of policies and regulatory guidelines related to the advancement of carbon dioxide capture, transportation, storage, and utilization in the Sultanate of Oman.
