Muscat— With the involvement of 105 people from 28 teams made up of developers, programmers, UX/UI designers, and business analysts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth has started the Barmajan Digital Transformation Hackathon. The goal of the event is to offer creative and practical digital solutions for the ministry's industries.
The ministry aims to communicate a number of important messages via this hackathon, which will take place at the National Museum for eight entire weeks. The main message is that young people are capable of creating digital solutions for organizations while also giving them the tools to use their innovation in the area of digital transformation.
In addition, the hackathon intends to improve community involvement by including participants in the development of solutions that promote digital transformation and support government agencies.
Training courses and numerous technical difficulties will be presented to participants to help them produce outcomes and create practical solutions that will benefit both public and commercial organizations.
