Pakistan School Seeb Celebrates Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony For State-of-the-Art Mabelah Branch

MUSCAT: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new Mabelah branch of the Pakistan School Muscat-Seeb branch was held, signifying a pivotal moment in the expansion of the school and its commitment to delivering world-class education to the Pakistani community in Oman.

The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from both the Pakistani and Omani communities, as well as representatives from the governments of both nations. Among the distinguished guests were Chaudhary Salik Hussain, the Federal Minister Overseas Pakistanis and Resource Development, with an additional portfolio on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Dr. Khadija Ali Muhammad Al Salami, the Director General of Private Schools under the Ministry of Education, His Excellency Imran Ali Chaudry, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman, Mohammed Essa Al Zedjali, the Chairman of Times of Oman, His Excellency Shaiful Anual Mohammad, the Ambassador of Malaysia, His Excellency Muhammet Hekimoğlu, the Ambassador of Turkey, Ameer Hamza, the Chairman of Board of Directors for Pakistan Schools in Oman, Iftikhar Ahmed, the President of the School Management Committee, and various representatives from the Pakistan Embassy.

The ceremony highlighted the robust bilateral relations between Pakistan and Oman, as well as the mutual dedication to promoting educational excellence.

The Mabelah branch, spanning an expansive 8,000 square meters, is set to become a symbol of contemporary education.

The construction area, measuring 17,376 square meters, will accommodate 70 spacious classrooms, equipped with the latest technology and facilities to serve over 2,800 students. The design of the school places a strong emphasis on sustainability, with the installation of solar panels on the roof to harness renewable energy.

"We are delighted to begin this new chapter in the journey of the Pakistan School Seeb," Ameer Hamza, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Pakistan Schools in Oman, expressed. "The Mabelah branch is a testament to our commitment to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment that equips our students for success in the 21st century."

The ceremony was concluded with a tour of the construction site, providing an insight into the school's promising future. Pakistan School Seeb is renowned for its academic excellence and a strong community spirit. The Mabelah branch is poised to continue this legacy, offering a comprehensive curriculum, a variety of extracurricular activities, and a focus on character development.
