Pact Signed For Knee Replacement Surgeries

Muscat: Athar Health Endowment Foundation and Saud Bahwan Charitable Foundation have entered into a financing agreement worth OMR250,000 to provide knee replacement surgeries for patients with limited income.

The signing of this agreement is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at ensuring the sustainability of healthcare financing through the exploration of alternative options. It also seeks to expedite the delivery of healthcare services, foster collaboration between the public and private sectors, and promote charitable initiatives within society, all under the umbrella of Athar Health Endowment Foundation.

This agreement will significantly reduce waiting lists, alleviate the burden on government healthcare institutions, and enable patients to undergo necessary operations in the shortest possible timeframe.

The agreement was formally signed by Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Athar Endowment Health Foundation, and Sarah Mohammed Bahwan, representing Saud Bahwan Charitable Foundation.
