Muscat: More than 25 foreigners have been detained by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman unlawfully.
According to a statement issued by the Coast Guard Police, led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, 29 persons, including 27 Pakistanis, one Iranian, and one Bangladeshi, were arrested while attempting to enter the country illegally aboard a vessel from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Legal procedures are still underway.
