Muscat: A tragic incident has resulted in the loss of a life, as one individual succumbed to drowning, while four others have been saved by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
In a press release, the ROP reported, "The Royal Oman Police responded to a distress call regarding five individuals who were on the brink of drowning while engaging in swimming activities in the Al-Safinat region, located within the Seeb Wilayat."
The ROP has issued a cautionary advisory to visitors of the beach, urging them to adhere to marine safety protocols and to exercise prudence while participating in water activities.
