Muscat: In the presence of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, presided over a solemn reading of the Life Story of Prophet Mohammed on Sunday.
This recital, which commemorates the birthday of Prophet Mohammed, took place at the Al Mawlid Hall within the Al Alam Palace.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of several members of the Royal Family, ministers, senior military commanders, heads of diplomatic missions from Islamic countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and other distinguished officials and dignitaries.
"May Allah Almighty restore this great tradition and similar events to the blessings of His Majesty the Sultan and may He bestow upon the Omani people and the rest of the Islamic nation peace, progress, and stability!"
