Qatari Minister of Culture, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, and Palestinian Minister of Culture, Imad Al Din Hamdan, have both visited the pavilion and familiarized themselves with its important manuscripts.
The Doha International Book Fair's Oman pavilion continues to impress visitors with its collection of rare manuscripts, literary works, and cultural treasures, showcasing Oman's rich literary heritage.
Various printing presses participating in the pavilion have displayed publications and book titles covering a wide range of subjects, including the history of the Peninsula, poetry, arts, research, and politics.
Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Rahbi, representative of the Omani Society for Writers and Literati, expressed that this is the first time the society has participated in such an event. Visitors to the Sultanate's pavilion are particularly interested in publications related to history and literary studies.
In terms of the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra's participation in the Doha International Book Fair, Lt Colonel Fahd bin Said al Farsi highlighted that the musical pieces performed by the orchestra beautifully represent Oman's musical and cultural heritage. The orchestra also showcases the exceptional talent of young musicians who excel in playing various instruments.
Furthermore, a workshop was organized on Saturday with the aim of raising children's awareness about the environment and the importance of its preservation, among other aspects.
