This initiative aligns with the recommendations from the forum titled "Role of Economic Sectors in Localizing Job Opportunities and Local Added Value." The positions span various areas within the water industry, designed to address local market needs and support Oman's economic development.
The committee is dedicated to enhancing Omanisation rates in the electricity, water, and sanitation sectors, with the Omani workforce in these fields reaching 79% in 2023.
This announcement marks a significant advancement in the efforts of the Operations Governance Committees to contribute to the economic sectors, in line with Oman Vision 2040, which aims to establish a sustainable economy driven by innovation and effective collaboration among all stakeholders, while also providing enduring job opportunities for the Omani workforce.
The committee invites job seekers to submit their applications for these roles through the Tawteen platform. Furthermore, they are actively working to offer training opportunities that are connected to employment in the sector.
