The International Storytelling Festival in Morocco recognized Omani writer and storyteller Thamana al Jandal by awarding her a prestigious gold medal.

The event brought together skilled performers who possess the talent to captivate the audience with their enthralling narratives.

Over 30 countries were represented by musicians and street artists during the weeklong festival, which came to a close on July 8 in Rabat.

Expressing her gratitude, Thamana stated, "I am delighted to receive this recognition and to be named Ambassador of the Arab Tale. I shared the tale of the frankincense tree, incorporating elements such as traditional attire, decorations, accessories, frankincense, perfumes, and palm fronds."
