In collaboration with the Cultural Committee of Muscat International Book Fair’s 28th edition, the Ministry of Information celebrated the unveiling of Oman Year Book 2023, themed “Oman the Vision & the Future” on Tuesday. The event was held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, the venue of the book fair.

Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Hinai, the Head of Oman Year Book’s Working Team, highlighted that the annual publication offers a detailed overview of Oman’s advancements across various sectors of national development. He emphasized that since its inception in 1979, the book has documented Oman’s growth, serving as a factual repository of national achievements in cultural, political, economic, and social domains.

Furthermore, Dr. Mohammed mentioned that Oman Year Book is released in five languages - Arabic, English, French, German, and Spanish, enabling it to reach a global audience and enhance the collections of Oman's diplomatic missions, international book fairs, and festivals.

He also noted that the digital version of Oman Year Book is accessible on the Ministry of Information's website in multiple languages.
