Muscat: The Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit recently convened a meeting in Muscat, attended by a distinguished assembly of parents and exceptional students who achieved excellence in the General Education Diploma (GED) examinations during the academic year 2023-2024. The primary objective of this gathering was to inspire and nurture the potential of these young individuals, thereby preparing them to assume leadership roles across various sectors in the future.
During his address at the meeting, Sayyid Dr. Munthir Hilal Al Busaidi, the Deputy Chairman of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, emphasized the importance of providing support to these outstanding students to ensure their continued excellence throughout their university journey, across all disciplines of science and knowledge.
The agenda of the meeting included a detailed discussion on the key elements of Oman Vision 2040 and its national priorities, with a particular emphasis on education, citizenship, identity, heritage, and national culture.
