Oman, Uzbekistan Hold Talks

Musqat: A political dialogue took place on Wednesday between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasizing their longstanding relationship and shared commitment to furthering cooperation in diplomatic, economic, cultural, and scientific domains.

Leading the Omani delegation was Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, while Baxtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, headed the Uzbek delegation.

The two ministers exchanged perspectives on the developments in the Arab-Israeli conflict, particularly concerning the Palestinian cause and the aggressive actions of the Israeli occupation government. They also deliberated on various other regional and international matters of mutual interest.

Furthermore, an agreement was signed between the two sides, enabling visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, private, and service passports from both countries.

In attendance were Sheikh Humaid Ali Al Maani, the Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry, Abdusalam Khatamov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, and several officials from both delegations.
