Oman To Implement Unified GCC Customs Tariff In 2025

Muscat: In an effort to enhance trade among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Oman is set to introduce a unified customs tariff effective January 1, 2025. This initiative is designed to simplify customs procedures across the member states of the GCC.

The revised tariff system will utilize 12-digit codes, replacing the former 8-digit format.
