Oman To Experience Cooler Temperature

Muscat: Regions within the Sultanate of Oman are anticipated to experience a decline in temperatures, attributed to the commencement of northwesterly winds on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and persisting over the forthcoming days.

The Oman Meteorology Department has issued a statement, noting, "There is a likelihood of the onset of northwesterly winds starting from Thursday evening, November 28, 2024, and extending over several days across various areas, including Musandam, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar governorates. This is expected to lead to elevated sea waves along the Musandam coast and the Sea of Oman. Additionally, there is a possibility of dust storms, a reduction in horizontal visibility, and a decrease in temperatures."
