Muscat: Oman firmly condemned Israel's barbaric military onslaught against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which struck sovereign facilities and resulted in civilian casualties.
Oman views this action as a hazardous and irresponsible escalation that constitutes a serious breach of the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law. Such hostile, continuous actions are unacceptable and undermine regional peace and security.
Oman stated that such actions risked to discount diplomatic options and jeopardize regional security and stability. Oman blames Israel for the escalation and its repercussions, and urges the international community to take a strong and unambiguous position to stop this hazardous trend.
