Oman Presents Two Media Awards At Oscars Of Journalism Ceremony In London

London: The Ministry of Information, on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman, was honored to present two prestigious awards during its participation in the Foreign Press Association (FPA) Media Awards "Oscars of Journalism" annual event, which took place in London.

The first accolade was awarded in the "Travel Tourism Story of the Year" category, while the second was bestowed upon the "Best TV and Radio Story of the Year".

This initiative underscores Oman's dedication to fostering global media innovation. The awards were presented to the victorious media professionals by Badr Mohammed Al Mantheri, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The event provided a platform to highlight the rich heritage and culture of Oman. It featured a screening of a short film and an exhibition showcasing Omani crafts and designs, which beautifully reflect the country's culture and heritage.

The ceremony was graced by a diverse assembly of media professionals, artists, intellectuals, and diplomats representing the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in London.
