The conference is designed to promote the digital transformation of education, ensure the ethical application of artificial intelligence in educational assessments, develop educational systems that integrate digital and environmental sustainability, empower students through awareness of artificial intelligence technologies, support teachers in adopting artificial intelligence in their teaching practices, and assist students in acquiring artificial intelligence skills as part of digital citizenship education.
Throughout the conference, the delegation from Oman presented a scientific paper detailing the Ministry of Education's experience in incorporating artificial intelligence into the school curriculum. Additionally, the head of the delegation engaged in discussions with the Assistant Director-General for Education at UNESCO and other experts within the organization to explore ways to enhance collaboration between the two entities.
