Oman's Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs participated in the 26th meeting of the GCC Permanent Legislation Committee, held at the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh. Dr. Yahya Nasser Al Khusaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, represented Oman at the meeting.
During the meeting, the committee discussed its work strategy and the findings of the experts and specialists responsible for unified GCC legislations. Participants also exchanged views on how to support GCC technical committees in drafting regulations, laws, and agreements.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the GCC Secretariat General’s proposals to delegate a committee of experts and specialists to compile legislative principles in coordination with member states' relevant departments.
