Doha: The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) and its Qatari counterpart recently discussed areas of collaboration and mutual coordination at both regional and international levels.

In addition, the two organizations shared their expertise and best practices in various human rights-related matters.

This productive exchange took place during the visit of OHRC's delegation, led by Dr. Rashid Hamad Al Balushi, Chairman of the OHRC, to Qatar.

Furthermore, the delegation familiarized themselves with the regulations and structure of the Qatari commission, as well as the process of selecting its members.

During their visit, the delegation also had a meeting with Sultan Hassan Al Jamali, the Executive Director of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions. The discussion focused on identifying areas of cooperation and exploring the possibility of organizing workshops and training sessions in Oman.
