Oman, GCC Sign Agreement On Headquarters Of Advisory Board Of GCC Supreme Council

The Sultanate of Oman and the GCC have signed an agreement in Muscat today regarding the headquarters of the "GCC Supreme Council's Advisory Board", the "Office of the Gulf Network for Quality Assurance of Higher Education" in GCC States, and the "GCC Centre for Translation, Arabization, and the Promotion of Arabic Language".

Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, and Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, the GCC Secretary General, signed the agreement. Oman is the host country for the headquarters of the GCC Supreme Council's Advisory Board.

Al Budaiwi praised Oman's efforts in advancing collective GCC initiatives and ensuring the well-being of the GCC citizens through these three institutions.

The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by GCC ambassadors accredited to Oman, as well as officials from the Foreign Ministry and the GCC Secretariat General.
