Muscat: Today, the 12th edition of the Oman Forum took place in Muscat, focusing on the crucial role of the private sector in attaining the sustainable development goals.
Under the patronage of HH Sayyid Faris Fatik Al Said, the event was organized by "Alam Al Iktisaad Wal A'mal" or "The World of Economy and Business" magazine, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Environment Authority, and numerous private sector companies.
This edition of the forum delved into the Sultanate of Oman's endeavors to enhance its competitive advantage, foster integration with the global economy, and actively participate in global trade, all in pursuit of comprehensive and sustainable development.
Throughout the event, working papers were presented, and various discussion panels were conducted. Additionally, the forum provided a platform for pioneering and leading initiatives in the realm of sustainability, encompassing diverse areas such as humanitarian, social, economic, and environmental fields.
