Muscat: The mountainous regions of the Sultanate of Oman witnessed a notable decrease in temperature at dawn, leading to the emergence of frost within the Sarat Mountains.
The General Directorate of Meteorology reports that the minimum temperature observed over the past 24 hours was in Saiq, plummeting to a cool 11.7°C. Additionally, several other localities experienced temperatures close to this level, including Mazyouna (16.2°C), Thumrait (16.5°C), and Muqshin (16.7°C).
Conversely, the highest temperature recorded over the same period was a significantly warmer 35.3°C, observed in the wilayat of Sur.
